Africa Well Project (Nov-Dec 2007)

Many of you know that STL/Distribution has been collecting donations for the Africa Well Project and will continue to do so up until the end of December.  

The purpose of the well project is to provide clean, safe water to those who live in the village of Ciangera.  It is in Ciangera that STL built and funded a church, called St. Luke’s Church through Compassion International that is located in this village.  Those in surrounding areas will travel to the well in this village for clean water which will also give them an opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ at St. Luke’s Church.  This allows for the church to reach out & witness to lost people and teach them of God’s love and Salvation. 
 
The people in Ciangera are very grateful for the church and have a great hunger & thirst for the gospel.  The church is always crowded that over 500 people stand outside during each service so that they may hear the word of God.  The services may last up to 5 hours if not more.  

Please pray for those who are sharing the Gospel, for those who hear it and for those who will receive it.  Please help us support this worthy cause of providing clean, running water to the village of Ciangera.
